POWER SKATING

Mastering the fundamental skill of skating is crucial, regardless of your age or proficiency level. Continuous improvement in skating is imperative. Our focus is on developing a versatile and efficient skating style, emphasizing dynamism, mobility, smoothness, agility, and effectiveness in the contemporary game. Our cutting-edge techniques blend the best aspects of North American, Russian, and European styles. We emphasize the importance of dynamic speed, coupled with the ability to be mobile, controlled, and balanced. Our coaching covers edge control, stride efficiency, body positioning, lateral movements, turns, transitions, starts, and coordination, providing players with updated and comprehensive skating skills.

SHOOTING


A strong and accurate shot makes a significant impact in hockey. We analyze the mechanics of every shot, emphasizing key elements like weight transfer, stick position, body stance, follow-through, shot placement, quick release, and shooting while in motion. We highlight the importance of becoming a versatile shooter, able to adjust to different game scenarios. Players acquire the skills to swiftly switch between various shooting techniques, optimizing their chances of scoring. Personalized feedback and guidance are provided to help players improve their shooting abilities, allowing them to deliver powerful and precise shots during games.

STICK HANDLING

Having confidence with the puck in hockey is a crucial skill. We teach essential moves, including basic stick handling, forehand and backhand techniques, toe drags, puck protection, quick hands, coordination, puck pushing, puck placement, mobility, wrist strength, directional changes, and proper hand and body positioning. Understanding and practicing these aspects are vital for becoming a top player. We break down and simplify these techniques, building on each other to enhance your stick-handling abilities and make you the best player you can be.

PASSING


Passing is crucial for a successful hockey team and player. At Infinite Ice, we prioritize improving players' passing skills through specialized drills. We break down techniques, including different types of passing, accuracy, strength, quickness, vision, and decision-making. Skilled players and teams are known for accurate and quick smart passes. Our focus is on refining players' passing technique and enhancing their ability to deliver precise passes.

INTEGRATION OF SKILLS

High-tempo flow drills, circuits, races, and games are not only about raw speed and agility. They are invaluable when it comes to integrating skills, allowing players to apply their skating, puck handling, passing, and shooting abilities in real-game situations.

COMPLETE PLAYER CAMP DETAILS

  • Camp ages are 7-18 and players are designated to the appropriate group depending on age and skill level
  • 2 On-Ice Sessions per day (total of 10) focused on Skill Development & Power-Skating and Conditioning
  • 1 Dry-Land Session per day (total of 5)
  • 1 Empowerment Session per day (total of 5)
  • 1 Yoga and Meditation Session per day (total of 5)
  • 3 years minimum playing experience, this is not a learn-to-skate program
  • The complete day schedule will be e-mailed to you closer to camp
  • Groups are capped off at functional numbers to ensure high-level coaching for each player

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Upon receipt of your payment, no refund will be issued except upon receipt of a medical report from a qualified physician; stating that the registered child is unable to participate in the hockey camp for medical reasons. A processing fee will apply. The above refund policy is only applicable to cancellations prior to the first day of camp. The camp is not refundable or partially refundable once the camp has started.
